North Carolina, Smoky Mountains
YAY For Christmas I asked to go to the Smoky Mountains, so we went :D
It was colder, windier, and drier than I'd imagined.
We stayed at a cabin whose water supply stopped, so we moved to another cabin.
Both were pretty rural (?), we had to drive several miles before getting out of the community and to the trash can place.
I didn't take any pictures of the first cabin place because I was too lazy/cold, but it was more wild than the second place.
There were dogs everywhere, and had a real rustic feel to it.
The second place was more of a vacation home, I think.
We spent 6 days there, and visited the Smoky Mountains on 3 days, seeing the same thing every day. On the day we left, there was fog. It looked like it did in the postcards. Too bad we were leaving then and I was tired so I didn't take any pictures... The Smoky we saw was a weird orange color, and I wanted to jump out onto the mountains while we were there. Just jump out into the trees and see if I would flop back. It looked so bouncy.
I got a stuffed bear named "Chico" which I thought was quite inappropriate for a bear, so I named him Smoky :D
Also, the day before we left it snowed! Then the snow melted. But I was happy I got to finally see snow, since I hadn't seen it for over 3 years!
Enjoy ♥
ps. the weird picture of the bee is 'cause I was doing some stuff on the ground and noticed dead bugs in the patio door thing! So I took some pictures :)
